Additionally, I’m proud to be an Honorary Research Associate at the University of Glasgow, where I bridge the gap between academia and industry, transforming research insights into tangible business impacts.

My journey began in Mexico, where my passion for technology ignited the creation of Consultoria en Diseño e Ingeniería Tecnológica (CODITEC). I became a skilled technology developer and integrator in the heart of the vibrant tech industry. Working with a diverse range of clients, from manufacturing giants to renowned research institutions, I crafted innovative solutions that pushed the boundaries of what was thought possible.

Driven by a thirst for knowledge, I travelled to Europe to gain a deeper understanding of the intricate relationship between technology and innovation. Embarking on a joint Master’s program in Global Innovation Management, a unique collaboration between universities in Germany and the UK, I honed my skills and discovered a profound passion for digital innovation.

Fuelled by this passion, I undertook the challenge of seeking a PhD in Management at the University of Glasgow. My research there focused on the relationship between digital technology, innovation, business models, and Industry 4.0, providing valuable insights and practical tools for professionals to navigate the digital impact on their organisations and craft successful Industry 4.0 strategies. Plunging into the intersection of academia and real-world challenges, I embraced roles as a Research Associate and Graduate Teaching Assistant, gaining invaluable insights into the practical implications of research and academia.

Throughout my journey, I’ve collaborated with organisations like Darwin Innovation Group and Therme Group. These partnerships have allowed me to push the boundaries of traditional business models and guide companies towards ethical and impactful digital integration. My ultimate goal has since been to empower businesses to harness the full spectrum of digital opportunities, ensuring their agility and competitiveness in the dynamic digital era.
